In compound interest c = p( 1 + r)n
So, interest = p (1 + r) n - p
According to question,
p + (1 + r)n - p = 510
p( 1 + 12.5/100) 2 - p = 510
p ( 1.125)2 - p = 510
p { (1.125)2 - 1} = 510
p = 510/0.2656 = 1920.18 tk
Again, Simple interest,
I = pnr = 1920.18 ×2×0.125 = 480 tk
